How We Work
Most installers pull cable and walk away. We work in five clear stages, so you always know what's going in, what it costs, and why.
1. Design & estimate drawings — free. We lay the job out on paper — drop locations, routes, and rack layout — so you see the full scope and an accurate price before you commit. No charge, no obligation.
2. Issued-for-construction (IFC) drawings. Once you approve, we produce the detailed drawings we build from. Nothing gets installed until you've signed off.
3. Installation. We pull and terminate to the approved drawings — clean, to the TIA-568 standard, coordinated with your electrician, GC, or reno crew.
4. Testing. Every run is tested for correct termination and continuity, and labelled at both ends.
5. As-built documentation. You get final drawings that match exactly what was installed — every run labelled and mapped — so the next person to touch your network, including future-you, isn't working blind.

For most commercial projects in the GTA, a Cat6 drop lands in the $120–$250 range installed — the exact number depends on drop count, pathway conditions, and whether the building is occupied during work. Unit cost falls as volume rises: a 50-drop office prices very differently per drop than a 5-drop retrofit. The same backbone typically carries your CCTV and wireless access points — running them in one mobilization costs less than two visits. Every quote is fixed after a site walkthrough, with full testing and labelled documentation included.
Cat6A handles 10-gigabit speeds over longer runs with better shielding, so we recommend it for new builds and long cable runs. Cat6 is the right, cost-effective choice for standard office and workstation drops. We'll tell you which makes sense for your space — not just upsell the bigger number.
Whenever possible, yes. Running cable before drywall is faster and cleaner. Once the walls are closed, every new cable has to be fished through finished spaces — that's slow, manual work, and slow labour costs more. Planning it up front saves you both time and money.
